Dental Nurses, also known as Dental Assistants, are an essential part of our clinical team. They help ensure each day runs smoothly, support our dentists during procedures, maintain high standards of infection control, and play a key role in creating a comfortable experience for our patients.
Many of our Dental Nurses are also cross-trained in reception duties, providing flexibility and career development opportunities within the practice.
No Experience? No Problem.
Previous dental experience is not required to start a career as a Dental Nurse.
Many successful Dental Nurses come from backgrounds in customer service, hospitality, retail, childcare, healthcare, or administration. If you enjoy helping people, learning new skills, and working in a team environment, dental assisting could be the perfect career path.
Many of our team members begin their careers through a Certificate III in Dental Assisting traineeship.
As a trainee, you’ll receive:
Our training program typically includes a 4–6 week buddy system where you’ll work closely with experienced team members while completing your Certificate III in Dental Assisting through TAFE.
Most trainees complete their qualification within 9–12 months, depending on their study arrangements.
